Texas' electrical grid is a fantastic argument for solar independence. However, rolling blackouts are common in many major US cities in part due to aging infrastructure, but also because of increased demand on the grid from home electronics, electric vehicles, and automated factories.


For true energy independence, nothing beats Solar PV with battery backup!
